KINGSTON, Jamaica – The VM Group has, for the third consecutive year, been named the ‘Best Financial Advisory Team in the Caribbean’ by respected United Kingdom-based business publication, Capital Finance International (CFI.co).
In its announcement of the 2021 award recently, CFI.co recognised VM for its extraordinary efforts to continue to transform lives and empower its Members and clients over the past year, despite the significant impact of the pandemic on communities, people and the global economy. This builds on the awards won over the past two years that recognised VM’s outstanding commitment to providing Financial Education to help improve lives and its focus on being an Employer of Choice.
The judging panel this year also highlighted the way that VM adapted at the start of the pandemic with the full implementation of an existing remote work policy with no loss in productivity or accountability, as well as the value of the Group’s diverse offerings and reach in Jamaica and the Diaspora.
CFI.co said it has closely tracked VM’s progress over recent years and is “impressed with its cool competence throughout the pandemic challenges”.
VM’s Group President and CEO, Courtney Campbell, said VM is grateful for the recognition for the third consecutive year, and particularly this year, as the entity faced the challenge of operating during COVID-19.
“We are very proud to be acknowledged by CFI as the Best Financial Advisory Team in the Caribbean for the third consecutive year. The VM Team is firmly committed to transforming lives and has worked tirelessly and purposefully to support and uplift our Members and clients despite the challenges of the moment. VM has stood with the people of Jamaica through many seasons, and we’ll continue to be here for them through thick and thin,” he said.
CFI.co is a print journal news and online resource, reporting on business, economics, and finance. Each year, the entity seeks out individuals and organisations that contribute significantly to the convergence of economies and truly add value for all stakeholders. The Awards Programme aims to identify and reward excellence wherever it is found in the hope to inspire others to further improve their own performance.
